couples retreat

So as promised I thought I would share a little more about my adventure to Cabo San Lucas.  We headed down on a Sunday, were carted off in a huge van/limo, and arrived at our hotel in the early evening.  The resort was lovely with 3 pools, ocean views, and restuarants and bars super close.  We enjoyed dining al fresco and reveling in the fact, that we indeed were on vacation.

The days were met with lounging on the beach, sipping cocktails, and playing in the water. We played games and visited the discount supermarket on more than one occassion.  We ate some delicious meals at The Office, The Shrimp Factory, and Mi Casa restaurants and really took advantage of the fresh seafood in Cabo.  Seriously I think I ate shrimp at every other meal.

I kinda couldn't get over how adult like we were being. I mean this little adventure screams couples retreat, right?  Honestly it was so fun and Mexico is such an easy place to travel to, it's affordable, and they really do have some beautiful resorts...and weather, hello amazing!  I think it averaged in the upper 80s most days with a slight breeze.

But now it's back to the real world, back to work and back to the stresses of our upcoming move.  Holy moly I am getting really excited!!
